It was 7:11am on my way to work this morning, when I looked at the clock in front of me, right below the golden spider dangling from the dashboard of the green minivan. I was writing in my book all the things I’m thankful for. When I started I didn’t think I’d write so fast but there was so much to be “Thankful” for. I covered the whole page with Thanksgivings; for the things I have, for the person I am, for family and friends, for support, for the power to create…so many things, even my future life! When I finished, I was smiling, happy and emitting positive life force energy. Guess that’s what its all about….Try it! It turns things around full circle 360 degrees of Light within your (my) Body Mind Temple.
Back to the Spider, when I saw it dangling in the van, I thought to myself laughing, “Hmm, there is a lesson here somewhere. What am I supposed to be “aware” of today. What is the Universe communicating to me?” I remembered the many indigenous oral stories about the Universal wisdom of the spider and how she weaves the many of us and all things. Then I read this (below) and the message was further revealed. Life is soo Magical sometimes. We just have to be ‘awake’ to see it and feel it.

Day 4 (Dec 30): What form will my spiritual journey take?
Yellow Warrior is a conduit for cosmic communication, offering access to the universal web of consciousness. This is the web of the Mayan mystic spider that weaves intergalactic threads, the conduit of interconnected consciousness. Yellow Warrior is the spider in the web, the grid connection for divine communication. Receive these ripples of knowing from Yellow Warrior’s web through the central axis in your spine, your staff. Accept this gift of knowing in grace, as you would receive the morning light by turning your face to the Sun. Grace is an unexpected touch, a blessing given in love, a natural gift from the universe. Use the power of love like an electrical current to serve the light. Open fully to feel and receive it!
The number for Yellow Warrior is sixteen, the number of unity with the cosmic foundation of resonant evolution. As you embody the ferryman’s staff, you become anchored in your connection to cosmic consciousness. Holding within you the foundational steps of the trinity, you carry the “Christed one” into the world. As a living mystic, you are the conduit of the spiraling galaxies that creates a union with cosmic consciousness. Sixteen may also be seen as the beginning of another octave – a higher octave characterized by organic balance and the new Earth under your feet.

SPIDER WOMAN
Southwestern Native American (Oral Traditions)
In the beginning, there was the dark purple light at the dawn of being. Spider Woman spun a line to form the east, west, north, and south. Breath entered man at the time of the yellow light. At the time of the red light, man proudly faced his creator.
Spider Woman used the clay of the earth, red, yellow, white, and black, to create people. To each she attached a thread of her web which came from the doorway at the top of her head. This thread was the gift of creative wisdom. Three times she sent a great flood to destroy those who had forgotten the gift of her thread. Those who remembered floated to the new world and climbed to safety through the Sipapu Pole the womb of Mother Earth.
Spider Woman had two daughters, Ut Set, the mother of the Pueblo people. She formed the sun and gave her people the gift of the sun. Nau Ut Set formed the moon and was the mother of all others. She gave the gift of prayer sticks.
After the sun and moon were formed, it was still too dark. Spider Woman formed the Star People with clear crystal for eyes. She also gave the people Eagle feathers for their hair to remind them to keep the door open to her gift of creative wisdom.
Spider Woman is also Thought Woman or Creation Thinker Woman. As she thinks, so are we. The Spirit is all — it flows in and out of everything — it embraces the earth — it encompasses the universe. It is the earth. It is the universe. Spirit is universal.
The designs on the dresses are taken from Arachnids.
