On my way to work I looked to the right going North toward Washington, DC. I was in awe and prayer at how lovely the sky looked, but I had never seen Red Clouds before today. First the horizon was red ( I slugged in a Red Durango with the Ram logo..hmmm..sounds like “fire” to me.) Anyway, it was peculiar seeing the Red Clouds, the West was dark and heavy. I took a mental note.
At about 10am, the winds were so powerful they shook the glass on the brick buildings clustered in threes. We seemed to shake and bend. And there was a bit of fear in the hearts of those who were witness. I always think this is Mother Earth’s way of saying that Her power is far more superior than man’s man-made technologically- built world. And that we must remain humble to Her indigenous ways of life and awareness.
As I walked through pine trees on the path, I was disturbed by the chill in the air. The cold was biting and unmerciful. I prayed for the homeless and abandoned animals. I kept saying to myself that this is a bad omen, having such freezing temperatures the day of New Years since it had been so incredibly warm this past week or what seemed longer. I just couldn’t shake my feeling. I was numbed from the inside out but I held on peaking at the sky. The constellation looked familiar, it looked like Venus and the Crescent Moon. But I told myself I was wrong since it had occurred just a few weeks ago on December 1. I didn’t know until I reached home and saw the web article my kids had on the computer about the Venus alignment occurring today. What was bizarre was the article was unclear as to Jupiter and Mercury’s play in this alignment. The article precluded to their partake in the alignment but refused to say it in plain English, maybe this was a style preference. Anyway, I was alarmed. It just feels like we keep getting warnings, but I wonder who’s listening.
In 2005, the week of Katrina, before my first travel to Arizona a place I called ‘home’, I did a phone interview with a healer, visionary out in Los Angeles, California. (I had also interviewed an environmental activist in hopes of writing these articles for my website.) I later found out that the Healer and I shared the same first name although she went by a Native American name and ran a Healing Center near Hollywood. I was invited to a Sun Dance in the Kilimanjaro Mountains to pray and bring healing to the Earth. This was the a turning point for me as I slipped back into unconsciousness and fear, for I ‘chose’ not to attend due to money issues or ‘lack of’. I went to Arizona instead based on a dream I had for me this was a very sacred journey, but I understand that the community ceremony would have empowered me in ways I have yet to realize and one that is much needed on a deeper level.

Day 5 (Dec 31): What is my core purpose?
Red Earth qualities: Grounding force, synergy, centeredness, wholeness, synchronicity, galactic alignment, Earth Force, fluid world resonance, clue tracking, crystal healing, shield.
Red Earth is the access point to your natural alignment with Earth force. It is the unis mundi, the point of perfect centeredness in the eternal present from which all alignment and magic manifest. Your center, the Earth center, is the secret of gravity’s magnetizing force. Red Earth is the channel of harmonic synchronization that is aligned with the galactic heart. From the center point within eslf, you align with this galactic center and connect through your own crystalline structure to the larger crystal grid network. To keep this channel of synchronization open, connect to the elemental energies of earth, air, fire and water, and the seven directional guardians.
Center yourself in the present moment! This is where you can most beneficially observe the synchronicities and revelations about your personal pattern and larger purpose. From here your mind can learn to be keenly observant, allowing the larger pattern to take shape as naturally as the small brushstrokes that eventually complete a beautiful painting.
Sit in simple relationship to the Earth, like a poet enraptured in a forest. Be rooted where you are now. Out of synergistic centeredness, you will receive your greatest desires and open to the full flowering of the mystic power of the universe. This synchronization can be seen as the alignment of your personal myth with the greater myth of our times. Myth is the framework or “story” in which the truth of the cosmos is revealed in symbolic form. Utilize it to catalyze your unfolding alignment.
By accepting your physical form and your growth process in this world, you access the hub of centeredness out of which all the truth and magic of the universe unfold.
